Manage the mobile version of your game campaign
Updated over a month ago

Socialshaker allows you to upload images specially adapted to the mobile format for all the stages of your campaign (home page, form, end of game pages, etc.), with the exception of the ‘Mechanics’ section, which corresponds to the ‘gaming’ part.

We recommend that you read the article Creating the graphics for your campaign before you start. This article discusses the dimensions of campaign and page backgrounds, as well as tips for visualising mobile rendering. Here are a few tips for managing the mobile rendering of your campaign on the Socialshaker platform.

Graphic specifications

For optimum rendering of your visual on mobile, we recommend using the following dimensions: 480x710 pixels. Make sure your image is no larger than 1.5 MB.

Screen sizes vary from one mobile phone to another, so we advise you not to exceed 320 pixels in width (centred) for your text and images in a 480x710 pixel visual. This ensures better legibility and display on different devices.

Mobile display

1. To ensure that your personalised mobile visual appears correctly:

  • Go to the Configuration section

  • Uncheck the Display campaign background on mobile only box

⚠️ Warning: If your personalised mobile background is not displayed when broadcast, check that this box is unchecked!

2. To only display the campaign background on mobile :

  • Tick the Show only mobile campaign background box in the Configuration section.

This way, only the campaign background common to all pages will be visible on mobile, without the skin images specific to each page. This option is useful if the skin images are not adapted to the mobile version.

Mobile rendering of the ‘Game’ section

The ‘Game’ section (which can be configured from ‘Mechanics’) does not have an image dedicated to mobile. In fact, we consider that the game itself takes up all the space on the screen and that a dedicated image is not necessary. If you want to integrate your logo on this page, use the Desktop skin image, which will also be displayed in the mobile version. The visuals and text in the image must be well centred so as not to be cut off on mobile.

Preview

To preview the mobile version, go to your campaign back office and select ‘Preview’ - ‘Preview Mobile’. You'll then have access to the mobile version of your campaign:
