This article explains the different situations you may encounter when switching from one offer to another.
We list the advantages and situations you'll encounter.
If you'd like to switch, go to the “My subscription” page. Here are the available Socialshaker subscriptions:
Basic: monthly or annual subscription
Professional: monthly or yearly subscription
Advanced: monthly or yearly subscription
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, as well as change your monthly or annual pricing mode.
Ex: Basic monthly to Professional yearly, Advanced monthly to Basic monthly etc...

Upgrading to a higher subscription will take effect immediately.
Downgrading to a lower subscription takes effect on the expiry date of the current subscription.

How do I change my subscription?
To change your Socialshaker subscription:
Log in to Socialshaker from a web browser on your computer or cell phone.
In the “My subscription” section, click on “Modify my subscription”.
Then select the monthly or annual subscription you wish to take out.
Proceed to payment
When will I be billed for my new subscription?
1. Upgrade: If you decide to upgrade, the change is immediate. You will be billed a proportional amount for the first month or year of your new offer. Thereafter, you will continue to benefit from this offer for as long as you have subscribed, and you will be billed according to the monthly or annual rate in effect at that time.
2. Change to a lower offer: If you opt for a lower offer, the change will take effect on the next billing date. This means that you will still be able to benefit from your current offer until the end of the current billing period.
3. Switching from monthly to annual billing for the same subscription: If you decide to switch from monthly to annual billing while keeping the same subscription, the change will also take effect immediately. Once you have paid your annual subscription, you will not be able to switch back to monthly billing immediately, even for an identical offer. This will be done at the end of the current billing period.

What happens when I downgrade?
Here's what happens when you take out the subscription below.

In a nutshell:
Upgrade: By upgrading to a higher subscription level, you gain in campaign management capacity and functionality, but at a higher cost.
The effect is immediate: you'll be able to take advantage of your benefits as soon as you subscribe!
Downgrade: By choosing a lower subscription level, you reduce your costs, but lose management capacity and functionality.
You'll have to wait until the end of your current subscription before you can use the new one.
Monthly / Annual subscription: You can also choose to change your pricing method at any time. Find out more about pricing options.
Can I switch to any subscription at any time?
Yes, you can change your subscription at any time.
✍️ However, 2 cases are not possible:
Changing to a higher subscription by lowering the periodicity (from annual to monthly)
Switch to a lower subscription by increasing the frequency (from monthly to yearly).
Ex 1:
I can't switch from a Basic Annual subscription to a Professional Monthly subscription!
Ex 2 :
I cannot migrate from an Advanced Monthly subscription to a Basic Yearly subscription!
