Can I use Socialshaker for free?
Our Free offer gives you access to our entire platform so you can configure and test all our features. You can launch a campaign on a microsite or integrate it into your website, with a limit of 10 participants. We do not recommend using the Free version for a campaign to play with your audience, as it is designed to test the platform's features.
What happens when I reach the limit of participants in my Free campaign?
To prevent your users from being blocked from accessing your game, you can easily switch to a paid subscription plan. Go to your Socialshaker account and click on the "Subscribe ’ button on the home page. For more information, see this article.
How do I switch from a Free subscription to a Basic, Professional or Advanced subscription?
To switch from a Free subscription to a Basic, Professional or Advanced subscription, follow these simple steps:
Click on the "Subscribe ’ button at the top of the home page.
Select the subscription you want (Basic, Professional or Advanced) and click on ‘Subscribe’.
You will be redirected to a new page where you can choose your payment method.
Enter your payment details, check that they are correct and then confirm your payment.
Once the payment has been accepted, an invoice will be automatically generated, and you will be able to take advantage of your Socialshaker subscription immediately.
Can I buy a pack of participants to increase the limit of my campaign activated with a Free subscription?
No, you can only buy participant packs for Basic, Professional and Advanced subscriptions. With a Free subscription, you need to take out a paid subscription to increase the number of participants in your campaign.
What happens when I reach the limit of participants on my paid subscription campaign?
A campaign activated with a Basic, Professional or Advanced subscription is limited to a certain number of participants. On Socialshaker, a participant corresponds to a single email address, regardless of the number of attempts made by this address. If you have not anticipated and purchased a pack of participants before reaching the quota, or if your campaign reaches the maximum number of participants planned, the campaign will be paused, but not deactivated. To restart it, you can increase the number of participants by purchasing a pack in the ‘My packs’ area of your Socialshaker account. For more information, see this article.
Why am I receiving notifications that I'm about to reach my participant limit after activating my campaign?
If you activated your first campaign with a Free subscription, you should know that the first 10 entries will always be deducted from your Free subscription, which will lead to this message being sent. You will then need to take out a paid subscription to be able to continue (see section 7 above).
For Basic, Professional and Advanced subscriptions, emails will be sent to you when your campaign reaches 50%, 80% and 100%, inviting you to subscribe to a participant pack or upgrade to another subscription.
How do I change my subscription?
You can upgrade your subscription at any time by clicking on the ‘My subscription’ button and then ‘Modify my subscription’. You can upgrade or downgrade, or change between a monthly and annual subscription. You have total flexibility over your subscription. Everything is calculated automatically by Stripe, our payment partner, when you choose a new offer. Find out more about subscription upgrades and downgrades.
Why is there a difference in amount between monthly and annual subscriptions?
The difference in price between monthly and annual subscriptions is explained by the discount offered for annual subscriptions. By opting for an annual subscription, you benefit from a reduced rate compared to a monthly subscription. Please note that some prices may be displayed exclusive of tax (HT), so be sure to check the final amount including VAT when placing your order.
Can I change my subscription during the month?
Yes, it is possible to change subscription during the month on Socialshaker. You can change to a higher or lower subscription at any time by clicking on the "Manage my subscription “ button in the ”My subscription ’ section of your account and selecting the new offer that corresponds to your needs.
Upgrades are immediate and prorated by our payment partner, Stripe, while downgrades take effect on the anniversary date of your subscription. This gives you total flexibility to adjust your subscription as your needs change. Find out more.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes, your Socialshaker subscription renews automatically unless you choose to cancel it before the anniversary date. We have removed the notice period, allowing you to cancel your subscription up until the day before it is due to renew. You will no longer receive automatic alerts for upcoming renewals, giving you the freedom to manage your subscriptions as you wish. What is the difference between payment by card and Sepa direct debit?
Payment by card and SEPA Direct Debit payment are two different payment methods offered by Socialshaker:
Payment by card:
You can pay for your subscription using a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
Payment is instant and secure thanks to our payment partner, Stripe.
You will need to enter your card details during the subscription process.
You can easily manage your payment and update your card details if necessary.
SEPA Direct Debit payment:
This is a direct debit from your European bank account.
You authorise Socialshaker to debit your bank account to pay for your subscription.
This method of payment requires the SEPA Direct Debit authorisation (direct debit mandate) that you must provide to Socialshaker.
Payment is generally made on a fixed date each month, according to the agreed terms.
How can I check or change my payment details, or add a new payment method?
To manage your payment details or add a new payment method on Socialshaker, follow these steps:
Log in to your Socialshaker account.
Go to the "My subscription ’ section in your personal space
Click on the ‘My invoices’ button
You will be redirected to the subscription management page.
To add a payment method, click on ‘Add a payment method’.
To define a default payment method, select the icon with the three dots, then choose ‘Define this card as the default payment method’.
If you wish to delete a payment method, please add a new one first.
To update your payment method, click on the ‘Modify’ icon.
You can also change your payment method each time you subscribe to a new service, for example when you upgrade your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your Socialshaker subscription, follow these steps:
Log in to Socialshaker
Select ‘My subscription’.
Click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ button
You will be redirected to Stripe and you can cancel by clicking on ‘Cancel plan’.
Be sure to cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid any additional automatic billing. Find out more via this article.
