How it works

Participants can share the game after taking part. Their dedicated sharing link will be used to count the number of referrals generated. Please note: the person becomes a referral once they have clicked on the link, filled in and validated the form. You can decide on a sponsorship ceiling: the additional chances of winning will therefore be limited.

Please note that sponsorship does not appear in a game stage. It is an internal game mechanism that gives more chances to players whose share link is used by one or more sponsored players. Please note that the sponsoring player has no way of knowing how many referrals he or she has generated. This ensures that each player has a fair chance.

The mechanism works as follows:

  • For an instant win type mechanism: the sponsoring player gets as many chances to play again as the number of referrals who have followed his/her share link. They can test the game as many times as they like to see if they have obtained new chances.

  • For a lottery-type mechanism: the more referrals the referring player generates, the greater the chance of being drawn at the end of the game.

Tips

  • Mention the benefits of sharing your game in your visuals or text.

  • Indicate the benefits of sponsorship on the results pages of your competitions:

Example:

  • ‘Share the operation and win extra chances to play again!’

  • "Example: ’Share the operation with your friends and win extra chances to be drawn!

Activate sponsorship

To activate sponsorship, go to the bottom of the Configuration tab of your campaign, then tick the ‘Activate sponsorship mode’ box. You can then choose the maximum number of referrals you want.

Exporting data

When you export the list of participants ( ‘Tracking ’ stage), you will have access to the total number of ‘godchildren’ per participant. The ceiling on the number of referrals authorised to increase your chances is not included in this figure, which gives you information about the audience for your game.

What do I do with my data?

You are free to choose how to reward players who have taken part in the sponsorship scheme. Here are a few ideas:

  • Send discount vouchers to all users who have more than X referrals

  • An X reward for the first 40 participants who generate at least 5 referrals.

Please note that these ideas can only be implemented by you, with the list of participants. The platform only allows you to draw lots from all the participants.
