The ‘registration form’ section
Updated over 2 months ago

Description

The ‘Registration form’ section allows you to collect information about your participants by adding fields to be filled in, which may or may not be compulsory. Some information cannot be requested because it is considered ‘sensitive’, so we recommend that you read this article to find out more about this before you start configuring.

Page skin

You need to select the font, colour and download a background image for Desktop (810x700 px) and Mobile (480x710 px). We recommend that you consult our Design Kit for more information.

You can use the colour pickers to manage transparency. For optimal rendering, you can also choose the position of your image (‘top centre’ or ‘bottom centre’).

Editorial content

Choose the title and description that will appear on this page, and customise their appearance. Customise the description that will appear below the form fields.

Connection option

You can activate the Facebook and Google connectors to simplify filling in the fields on your form. You won't need to configure anything - these connectors will be active as soon as they are activated. You can choose to only accept form completion via these connectors.

Fields to display

By default, the ‘email’ field is activated and mandatory for registering for your game campaign, but you can change its title. You can add various fields, including those relating to the documentation for your game that the participant will have to accept (such as the rules and the confidentiality policy), as well as opt-in fields for the newsletter and other fields for collecting personal data (title, postal address, telephone, etc.).

Socialshaker also gives you the option of adding 3 fields that you can customise to suit your needs:

Custom fields can be configured as :

  • Checkbox

  • Selection list

  • Text

  • E-mail

  • Date

  • Text box

  • File upload

It is not possible to make these custom fields compulsory. All data collected via the form can then be exported.

Privacy

You must write here the conditions for processing the data collected via the form and give the contact details for requesting the deletion of this personal data. This text will be displayed at the bottom of your form.

Button

You can change the appearance of the button redirecting you to the next page, in particular the text and colour in normal state and when the cursor is hovered over.

Code Unlocker

By activating this option, you can ask players to enter a code to validate the form. In these cases, you can deactivate email collection. Up to 50 non-unique access codes can be entered.

Please note that when this option is activated, you cannot use the limitation on participations, per day and per campaign. Only the IP limitation is allowed.

reCaptcha

The reCaptcha is activated by default to secure your campaign against any attempt at fraudulent registration. However, you can deactivate it if you wish.
