Set up a Contact Form mechanism

Description

Offer your audiences a contact form. This mechanism is not a competition. It allows you to collect opinions, comments and questions from your different channels.

Configuration stages

The Contact Form consists of the following sections

  • Settings: to determine the general parameters of the contact form.

  • Registration form: to choose the fields for your form and configure its design.

  • Concept: for entering the recipient's email address.

  • Publication: to activate and distribute your campaign to your audience.

Design

Before getting started, we recommend that you read this article, which explains the basics of creating graphics on Socialshaker: Creating the design of your campaign. As with all the other mechanics, you have the choice of using the templates provided or importing your own template.

If you choose the latter option, you will need to create the following elements for this mechanic:

  • Campaign background (1920x1080px recommended).

  • Desktop home page background (810x700px recommended) and Mobile home page background (480×710px recommended).

  • Desktop (810x700px recommended) and Mobile (480×710px recommended) form page background.

You can use the campaign background as the default background for all pages on Mobile by checking the appropriate box :

Settings

In this section, you can enter the recipient's email address. This is the email address that will receive all requests from the contact form.

Export player list

By clicking on ‘export player list’, you can download a .csv file containing all the participant information collected from the registration form. In this file, you will find this type of data: Date, First name, Last name, Email, Gender, Address, Zipcode, City, State, Country, Birthdate, Phone, Custom field 1, Custom field 2, Custom field 3, Newsletter, Partner Newsletter, Privacy Policy, Connector, utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term.

Thank you page

You can activate a thank you page which will be displayed once the participant has completed the form. This page is customizable.

You can change the appearance of the background image, add custom editorial content (text, image, video, html) and also add custom buttons that redirect to URLs of your choice.

Q&A

The start and end dates are not displayed on the dashboard, is this normal?

As this is a simple form, there is no real start or end date like a traditional campaign. Your campaign has no start and no end. It is available when it is activated and unavailable when it is deactivated.

Can I draw prizes among the participants?

Contact Form does not allow participants to be entered into a prize draw. To organise a prize draw campaign after filling in a contact form, you need to set up a Sweepstakes mechanism.

How can I modify my campaign once it has been activated?

You can, of course, modify your campaign at any time - simply make the changes you want and then confirm them using the ‘Validate’ button at the bottom of the page.
