Set up a Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanism
Updated this week

Description

Launch a competition in the form of a Rock, Paper, Scissors mechanic. Participants play against a robot in the famous game of Rock, Paper, Scissors (rock - leaf - scissors). Participants are then rewarded according to a draw system to elect the winners.

This game is very popular, enabling you to boost traffic on your various channels. You can personalise the game in your own colours, highlighting your world or the rewards via the scratch box and the win/lose images hidden behind the box.

Test this mechanism and download the documentation (assets, psd templates, renderings).

Theme

This module lets you import game backgrounds, customise the rendering of your texts and buttons, and customise the images of the Rock, Paper, Scissors and the lost/won images.

How do I import my backgrounds?

The game background is imported in the ‘Page design’ section. Only the Desktop background can be uploaded, and it will be resized to display on Mobile as well. If you wish, you can force the display of your campaign background for the Mobile version - this operation is carried out in the "Configuration ’ section of your campaign.

How do I customise the Rock, Paper, Scissors?

Customise the illustration images (the game boxes). There's the recto box, under which the Rock, Paper, Scissors visuals are hidden:

And the stone, leaf and scissors boxes:

Next, customise the Pop-in hypertext link, which corresponds to the confirmation button after reading the game rules. Then customise the game confirmation button. Don't forget to click on the ‘Validate’ button at the bottom right of the screen before leaving this section.

Q&A

How are the Rock, Paper, Scissors winners chosen?

The winners of the Rock, Paper, Scissors are drawn at random, regardless of the score obtained in the Rock, Paper, Scissors. This is because the participant is playing against a robot, but the result obtained has no influence on the status of winner or loser.

How can I change my campaign once it has been activated?

You can, of course, modify your campaign at any time - just make the changes you want and confirm them using the ‘Confirm’ button at the bottom of the page.
